Evaluation of the year 2021 submitted by the director of the NŠC Vladimír Baluška:
“I am very pleased that, despite pandemic measures and restrictions in sports, our athletes have managed to prepare for major international sporting events. I am proud that up to five of our athletes took part in last year’s Summer Olympics in Tokyo (Emma Zapletalová and Gabriela Gajanová are no longer members of the NŠC, but they also received an award for exemplary representation, editor’s note).
Since February of this year, we have moved to the new, modern premises of the House of Sports and we will strive to create better conditions, care, sports diagnostics for our athletes and we also want to advance in education.
I would like our athletes to be satisfied with us, to enjoy the sport and to succeed in the most important international sporting events. The National Sports Center will continue to play a significant role in shaping the athletes of the young generation.
I wish you, dear athletes as well as your coaches, good health and good luck. “
